Newly created patches for the Roland M-DC1 sound module. This module features 255 pcm waves, and Roland’s programmers have put together 255 patches to showcase its capabilities. However, there is still room for even more sound variation. This is especially true because, despite its limited functionality, the module offers synthesis possibilities based on the renowned JV-80 synthesizer. Even with our extensive collection of over 1680 patches, we cannot cover all the module’s possibilities, but it ensures that you won’t get bored quickly. Unfortunately, the module is designed in such a way that only temporary memory can be used for your own patches. This means that each patch needs to be dumped individually, rather than performing a full dump of the synth’s internal memory. As a result, the patches from the collection cannot be used simultaneously, but you can load the sounds one by one (overwriting the previous one). However, with only 28 voices, this isn’t a major issue since multi-channel sequencing is unlikely to be a common use for the module nowadays.
