New voice programs for your Yamaha SY77 synthesizer. Many new sounds with this synth will be possible when using a Waveblade card. These voice banks (SysEx) also work with the TG77 module. As the SY99 concerns, loading should also be possible (not tested), but you must apply the effects yourself.

PKN-SY-77-09 – Factory (SY55) Downgrade
Yes there is a way to get a SY-55 sound to the SY-77, by using the waveroms of the SY-55 that are different than those on the SY-77. Some differences in the waves are hard to hear (just slightly shorter loops) but there are waves that sound really different, like the piano and the muted trumpet for example. This file contains the Factory banks SysEx (2 SysEx files) with altered wave paths (to access card waves. Please note that a Sector 101 Waveblade card needed for this soundbank!). A total of about 64 voices were changed for this.

PKN-SY-77-10a – Yamaha Sax Card (for Brass Sax Merged Waveblade file)
This Voice bank is identical to the Yamaha S7701 “Sax 1” file. Only card wave locations have been changed to make use of the Waveblade SY_Brass_Sax_ID7 file. In this file, the Yamaha Wave cards Brass and Sax merge into one file, using only one Waveblade slot. That way, this enables more wave sets on the Waveblade card. Free for supporters (that have the original card(s) or SysEx/.J01 files themselves).

PKN-SY-77-10b – Yamaha String Section Card (for Rock&Pop_Strings Merged Waveblade file)
This Voice bank is identical to the Yamaha S7705 “String Section” file. Only card wave locations have been changed to make use of the SY_Rock&Pop_Strings_ID4 file. In this file, the Yamaha Wave cards Rock&Pop and String Section merge into one file, using only one Waveblade slot. That way, this enables more wave sets on the Waveblade card.
