If you only use the factory sounds on your Roland D-70, you’re missing out on a lot. Yes, the original factory Roland D-70 patches are great, but also this instrument has so much more potential. Plus, with the PCM expansion cards available for the instrument, there are even more possibilities for what you can do with the synth.
There are many more possibilities than when accessing a wave expansion card through the synth’s card play button. Because, when using this button, the effects are bypassed and only one tone can be played in a ‘patch’, rather than combinations.
To fully harness the power of these PCM cards, you should program patches. This can be a labor-intensive process due to the complex system of the synth. Luckily, we’ve done that hard work for you. Simply purchase a sound bank here and start playing with the sounds in no time!

If you only use the factory sounds on your Roland D-70, you’re missing out on a lot. Yes, the original factory Roland D-70 patches are great, but also this instrument has so much more potential. Plus, with the PCM expansion cards available for the instrument, there are even more possibilities for what you can do with the synth.
There are many more possibilities than when accessing a wave expansion card through the synth’s card play button. Because, when using this button, the effects are bypassed and only one tone can be played in a ‘patch’, rather than combinations.
To fully harness the power of these PCM cards, you should program patches. This can be a labor-intensive process due to the complex system of the synth. Luckily, we’ve done that hard work for you. Simply purchase a sound bank here and start playing with the sounds in no time!
